Are you passionate about nurturing creativity? Having fun with different materials - paint, glue, glitter, etc., but also believing that being creative is about experimenting, playing and just seeing what happens. Giving expression to your own imagination in a group setting provides lots of benefits. It helps young children learn to make choices, share, listen, observe, pretend, problem solve, as well as play and interact with others.
The Creation Station isn’t simply about learning how to paint, model or collage along the lines of “Here’s one they did earlier”. It’s all about having a go, being inspired by something quite simple and encouraging each person to develop their own ideas. It can be amazing to see that happen.
Research indicates that children benefit significantly when engaging in toddler art activities if their key person is involved and supports them through their learning experiences. Their approach helps with children's development in a number of important areas:
Personal, social and emotional development
Communication, language and literacy
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Sarah Cressall is founder of The Creation Station. Creativity has always been a passion of hers. After gaining an Art Management Diploma, she became head of Art and Photography in a young adults’ disabled centre. she also ran her own design business “Artworks” and continued to win commissions for her creative work. These experiences sowed the seeds of what would later become The Creation Station.
The sessions – which have already been enjoyed by thousands of parents and children - are designed within the Every Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) of the Department of Education’s framework. They take into account The Early Goals for pre-school children to help them practise and develop their skills in preparation for school.

BRITISH FRANCHISE ASSOCIATION
In 1977, the major franchise companies in the UK decided to set up their own association. The British Franchise Association (bfa), was formed to act in the interests of the industry as a whole in assessing and accrediting franchising companies as those which meet its criteria for the structure of the franchise business, the terms of the contract between franchisor and franchisee, the testing of the system and its success as a franchise.
On this site, we only feature franchisors who are either:
Full Members of the bfa
Full Members are established franchised businesses with a proven trading and franchising record. They are prepared to have their reputation examined by the bfa, and have an established network of franchisees.
Associate Members of the bfa
Associate Members have proven their ability to launch and support at least one franchised outlet for 12 months and are now in the business of building their network. There will be few franchisees whose experience you can research and a short period of time over which the business has been tested.
