LITTLE KICKERS
bfa Full Member
Using football to give children from 18 months - 7 years, confidence, co-ordination, control and sense of camaraderie
The Little Kickers toddler football programme was developed by FA-qualified coaches and nursery schoolteachers (with feedback from a group of demanding parents!) and teaches fundamental football techniques & elementary life skills in a group play environment. Invaluable social skills like listening, sharing, taking turns and teamwork are conscientiously woven into a involving programme that places as much emphasis on simple learning concepts like colours and numbers as it does on fine-tuning a child's basic balance, agility and co-ordination.
They recognise that every child is an individual, and feel that children develop their skills best when they are playing with other kids of a similar age and ability. As such, Little Kickers separate kids into four distinct age groups, which encourage each child to maximise their involvement and development potential.
Established in the UK in 2002, in response to a lack of quality sports coaching for pre-schoolers, Little Kickers has grown through franchising, now operating across 5 continents. With firm emphasis on teamwork amongst our franchisees, and sustained investment, they have built a strong operational infrastructure enabling franchisees to provide 1500+ weekly premium football skill classes to 20,000+ children. Their experienced head office team recognise ongoing success requires continuous support, and are always available to provide advice and encouragement to franchisees.

BRITISH FRANCHISE ASSOCIATION
In 1977, the major franchise companies in the UK decided to set up their own association. The British Franchise Association (bfa), was formed to act in the interests of the industry as a whole in assessing and accrediting franchising companies as those which meet its criteria for the structure of the franchise business, the terms of the contract between franchisor and franchisee, the testing of the system and its success as a franchise.
On this site, we only feature franchisors who are either:
Full Members of the bfa
Full Members are established franchised businesses with a proven trading and franchising record. They are prepared to have their reputation examined by the bfa, and have an established network of franchisees.
or
Associate Members of the bfa
Associate Members have proven their ability to launch and support at least one franchised outlet for 12 months and are now in the business of building their network. There will be few franchisees whose experience you can research and a short period of time over which the business has been tested.
